
Shannon Schuehle was raised in Excelsior, Minnesota, and now considers Des Moines home. She received her undergraduate degrees from Drake University in 2010. Shannon played Division I soccer and prior to her senior year, she traveled to Uganda to study sustainable development.
Shannon continued her education at Drake University Law School and received her law degree in 2013, graduating with honors. While attending law school, she practiced with the Drake Legal Clinic – Middleton Center for Children’s Rights, spent a summer clerking for an associate juvenile judge, and worked as a law clerk for Abendroth and Russell Law Firm.
Since her start with Schott Mauss & Associates, she has worked exclusively in Social Security Disability. She is a member of the Iowa Bar Association and National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives. Shannon enjoys spending time with family and friends, practicing yoga, and walking with her dog.
